I got an '86 Vanagon Digifant ECU from the local junkyard for cheap and was wondering if it'll work in my '87. Externally they're the same, but the processor boards are different: the '86 having a Motorola 6803 uP and thru-hole PC board technology. My '87 is has a 68hc11 embedded uP and is all surface mount.
