Well I 'fess up to being a real (computer) dummy - I'm starting to get a
bunch of messages that only refer to  "attachment converted:
C\eudora\winmail(x).dat"

OK, double-clicking brings up Notepad to read it, but it's just garbage;
same w/Word(97), QuicView Plus (even tried all the text encoding
options)....haven't tried good ol' DOS Edit yet, but what *is* the answer
to reading these files???
