Take a look at the latest issue of European Car magazine.  They have
an article about a conversion kit from Eurospec to put a 2.0 Golf
engine in the Vanagon.  It is CARB approved.  Looks like a well
designed kit, which opens up all kinds of options for us who don't
have the diesel parts to start with!
