I thought that guy's name was Gary (or something with a 'G'). Anyway, a couple of us found him on the way back down Mt. Graylock at the Mobil station with the van on a flatbed dripping coolant. The suspicion at the time was a thrown rod after 20K on a rebuilt. :-( > I do remember seeing you both and yer "foglights with van > attached" -- too bad we didn't get a chance to have a really nice, > in-depth talk -- maybe next time... You were prolly too busy entertaining all the folks gawking at your bright orange Syncro Westy. Yeah, the DPO did put 2 foglights and 2 driving lights on. Looks a little ostentatious (or clunky), but they throw some serious light. That way we could see all the moose in the White Mountains. :-) -Karl '87 Vanagon GL Weekender "Beverley"; Trexlertown, PA http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/ VW shop list: http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/vwshops
