Hello.

This is my first post to the list, but I have been lurking for some time.

I have all but locked up the purchase of a 91 Westy Syncro GL.  I plan to
take possession on August 21st.  I have not seen the vehicle or but the
owner sounds as if they used it very little and took great care of it.  It
has less than 27,000 miles on it, and has been garaged all its life.  (I
know what you're thinking... ).

My point is what should I look for and what am I getting into?  I have
loved (from afar) Vanagons for a long time, but this is my first
watercooled one.
