Seen briefly at a friend's shop. Located in northern Michigan: '86 dark
brown Weekender. ( has a pop top and bed with 1 rear facing seat behind
the driver. No sink, stove, or Ice box). Automatic trans, ~118k
miles, minor seam rust starting. Overall seems to be in good shape.
The mechanic that I trust with VW's says it is mechanically sound. I
haven't went over it with a fine tooth comb but will if someone is
interested. Contact phone is 616-487-0715 . I don't know this person
but know he was told to ask 7200.00 for it. His original price was
less so I'm sure he will dicker considerably.
Happy hunting
