I have a 1986 Vanagon water cooled witha blown engine. I don't need more power. I just need to get my van going with less expense than the $3,000 that German Moters wants. I have seen a few examples of puttting a Golf engine in a Vanagon. It seems like that would be a good candidate. Any thoughts?
