Usually when I run the A/C the idle on my '88 Westfalia goes up to between 1800-2000 RPM. It is my understanding that it is supposed to do this to help keep the engine from stalling at idle. Unfortunately I noticed today that the idle was creeping up to about 3500rpm at idle with the A/C on. Turning the A/C off did not change the idle speed - but turning the engine off, leaving the A/C off, and restarting, made the idle come back to normal. I'm wondering if my throttle cable may be sticking somewhere? Or is this an adjustment that needs to be made? Todd '88 Wesfalia - no ice cubes
