For those interested, I have driven my New Beetle about 2600 miles and on the last
fill-up got 47 MPG, up from 42.  So far I have not found anything to complain about
this car.
 
How can I get a TDI EV?

Someone mentioned on this list the "Samba II" concept bus.  Does anyone know anything about it?  Have a picture of it?  The VW dealer here had never heard of it.
