Can anyone tell me if moving the ring and pinion set from one trans to
another is a job that I can do myself? I need to put  higher gearing
into a Diesel vanagon that now has a TD motor. I have a bad 82
air-cooled trans that jumps out of 4th gear. Can I move the R+P to the
82 diesel trans?
