sounds like what used to happen to my vdubs in the old days - moisture
(or condensation) in the distibutor cap. oh no!- i would have to  dry
the inside of the cap out (with a squirt of WD-40) to get us running
again.  also used hair spray around the cap to 'water-proof it'; worked
fine for a week or two.
