There is a short description of how an RV fridge

No detailed thermodynamics are presented, but
a general working explaination is.  I think
the Dometics are continuous-cycle absorbtion type.
There are no moving parts (excluding a bunch of
ammonia molecules), which is why the unit is silent
(except when the fan comes on).  Pretty neat.
