Catastrophic slipping clutch will not happen. The clutch when
not slipping has zero where happening. Once you have the clutch out
driving down the highway, (not slipping) it will last forever.
The quicker you release the clutch the less where. The way you dirve
will determine the life left. Once on the road in high gear keep on
eye on the engine RPM's to ensure the clutch isn't slippping, and
you will get many miles out of it.
