Here is the laws on Import Export !

US Van must comply with Canadas wierd laws.

    1. A letter from VW stating that the van year make and model has not be
recalled for any reason. Using the VIN #.
2.Daytime running lights. if over 89.
3.If it has an airbag it must have english and french dirrections.
4.You need to fax a bill of sale to Us customs that I would be crossing.
    5.$210 for registration.
    6.6.7% duty
    7.7$ GST (A canadian tax)
    8. $100 if it has AC

    My van must comply with
    1. Duty import of 2,5%
    2. EPA emmision standards.
3.Emmisions sticker on door and engine.
4.Write VW to get this if it is not present ASK for EPA emmision standards
and us safety standards using the VIN.

    Then the deal is done.
