Hi,
After a week of calling VWOA and my local dealer for more info on those
brackets to repair for those pesky (3) bolt holes on the (2) side of that
heavy evap on the 87 and prior vanagons here's what I found out.  Nothing,
Zilch, Zero.  No one knew what I was talking about.  I showed the dealer all
the notes I had taken from all you folks (thanks for the help:) .  The dealer
looked up tech advisories and the such.  No joy.
