hi everyone,

this is the greatest place ever! i mean it's
great to see people on the road and wave and
feel like family, but being able to yak about
vw's with people all over the place, all day
long rules! anyway, i have a question for you
guys: i have an 87 gl vanagon that i bought a
few weeks ago. it's in reallly great shape,
70,000 mi, everything works(minus rear
wiper/power mirrors) all for $3,000!!! right,
back to the question, it came with stock chrome
bumpers that have kissed a few others. i want to
replace them with something more along the lines
of a "wolfsburg/carat" type bumper with the
spoiler etc. any advice on doing so? too costly?
won't work? i think it would be a nice upgrade
and it looks so darn neat! let me know what the
collective brain thinks. also, anyone selling
alloy wheels for the 87? hub caps?(vw only, no
autozone fakies please)
