I need to get a rebuilt engine for my 86 Vanagon 2.1l. Has anyone had experience with AVP or Fast German Auto regarding their rebuilds? I'm planning on installing it myself (I've done many air cool buses, not this will be my 1st wasser) Any comments of other vendors or things I should look for would be greatly appreciated!
