Robyn, If you have factory alloy's, get a set of Michelin MXT's (205/70-14 99S Reinforced). They are about $75 each. Michelin was willing to give me a free set of MXT's after 3 blow-outs on my original MXL, which give me a much better feeling than to deal with the VWoA! At least they stand behind their products. It has 29,000 miles (I couldn't believe it either) on it and the original tires. They look to me a bit warn(but what do I know); the treads are just over an eighth inch deep. When should I expect to replace them and what's a good candidate? Thanks for your time.
