I've just recently moved into the world of Vanagons with my
recent purchase of a '91 Multivan.  The a/c works wonderfully,
but the dash always seems to radiate heat.  I'm not certain if I
would be able to notice it all that much with a GL, Carat, etc with
the center duct that gives you a/c in the front.  With the rear
only a/c, it seems like there may be something missing up front.

Anybody got some ideas for me to look at before my upcoming
camping trip to Maine?  I've only got a couple of weeks to make
any possible changes.
