Volks,

That last sentence is so true! On our 87 GL Syncro with electric
everything, I have found that the following happen in the order as
given:

        1. Electric windows no worky;
        2. Head lights no worky;
        3. Windshield wipers no worky;
        4. A/C no worky;
        5. Any and all electrical aux. systems that are wired through
"said
switch" no worky. This includes radio.

Oh, I forgot one most important thing. When some or all of the above go
belly up, by pulling the high/low beam switch lever back and forth,
while holding the lever in, what ever wasn't working - works! This is a
fool proof check for the ignition starter switch.

SSSOOOoooooooooo..... . .  .     .         .Carry a Spare and the tools
needed!
