Vanagone wanted some options on his gearbox:

 I don't necessarily want to do that, I just like to know
 the options for those inevitable "vanagon" days! >>

The best option is to swap like for like and not try and
weasel something in there.  It can be a grande headache
to try and figure out what will and what will not work on
a fabrication.  If it might be a used box your after then
get one that will give you the least amount of hassle
on installing it.

Just my view on it.............
