Hi all. As I went to retrofit my vanagon with the later shift boots and
nuts, I found myself puzzled by the tension pin at the rear, closest to the
tranny, end of the shift rod. The Bentley says remove the pin - how? Do I
grab it, do I shake it up? I wish to not mess up! TIA.
