Driving home last night in my 87 GL, the interior lights started blinking off and on. (WHAD-UP!). The back rear light is not attached to the shell and I'm wondering if this is the problem. I'm thinking that it may be a ground fault and that the lights must be grounded to the shell (or attached) to work properly. I was reading the haynes manual and looking at schematics and I really couldn't determine if they are supposed to be grounded to the shell or not. Has anyone had this type of problem ? Am I chasing the right rabbit ? TIA james b morris 69 Bug 73 Bus 87 GL Vanagon
