Roy,
When I asked my VW dealer about the coolant leak 2.5 years ago, the service
manager told me he "has never seen any head crack/leak problems on
Vanagon!"   That, of cause made me missed the VW hidden warranty to replace
the heads.  Yes, they WILL LIE!! :-(

I complained about chronic fillup overflow to my VW dealer when my
Westfalia was still under warranty...was told nothing can be done! You mean
they were lying?! ;>)
