Don't forget the rubber grommets around the wiper axle mechanism, or the window
washers. A friend of mine recently got a brand new cd-player ruined on his
restored 64 bug because of a bad grommet under a new washer jet. The rain dripped
right into the cd-player, the guarantee didn't cover it, of course. Also look for
any rust holes or missing screws behind the headlights and grille, and seal them
if there are any.
