I will then ceramic coat the pistons and combustion chamber to keep the heat in the combustion chamber. Also the head sealing surface will be coated with a ceramic coat to eliminate the corrosion problem. > I am also coating the valves to decrease stem wear. > I am buying new hoses all around. > I will spend around $3K to $4K when it is all done. Robert Lilley,Hey, there was once a Bob Lilley that played tackle for the Dallas Cowboys..... Questions, 1) If coating the valves, will the valve stems have to be oversized for coating clearance? 2) How do we break in an engine that has been ceramic coated? Is the process you are using Cermichrome, I once had this done on an airplane engine, very good results and break on only took 30 minutes. ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> Shalom 87 GL Mark Magee 91 Westy Kemah TX USA 96 Suzuki 4WD Sport John 14:6
