TBill - The only Wankel I ever got drive was back in '71, an RX2?  All I
remember about the thing was it was spunky, smooth as silk and the owner
was told to not worry about overrevving it.

Maybe we'll run across someone on the list who has placed one in a
Vanagon & get something from the horse's mouth?
