The automatic transmission shift lever on my '84 DL gets quite hot when I am driving. I don't remember it getting as hot last summer, but I didn't have the A/C working then. Is there enough heat from the radiator that gets back to the shift linkage? If so, how best to insulate it? John Lauterbach
