I'm a new '86 Vanagon owner....

my rear hatch wont stay up.... Where can I buy replacement parts to both assist
in lifting (it's kind of  heavy for my wife) and keeping it up?

...and I....... ahhhhhhh...... guess I'll be replacing the fuel lines
pretty soon...as every good newbie should.
