With all these vans out there with potentially leaky vent hoses
(including mine)  I've started to wonder about a possible simple fix.

I've seen, from time to time at auto parts places "hose repair tape"
which looks quite duct-tape like.  Is this something with would be
appropriate for repariing these leaky hoses or is that stuff intended
more for hoses with only air running through them?
