I have had both brake light bulbs go out at the same time.

Hi:

The exterior brake lights stopped working today.  I checked the
fuse--fine, also assume the bulbs are okay since both brake lights are
out and yet the backup lights, etc.. work.

Someone at the auto parts store thought it might be a problem with the
switch at the brake pedal itself.  Any thoughts before I go see Bela?
