Gilles- I think the people complaining don't want to wade thru the "mis-spelling" posts. The people posting mis-spellings are doing it (apparently) as part of some Friday joke-post tradition. I don't think anyone is asking people not to post if they can't spell (at least I hope not). I mis-spell a lot just because I can't type! I'd hate to see people from Quebec, Netherlands, Germany , Norway et al leave because of the noise level! Spellcheckers are marginal at best; I think ; besides anyone should be able to post to this list on the basis of Vanagon-itis, not computer proficiency. a bientot Frank. 91 Westy ( stored in Europe) 95 Winnie (in Toronto) ___________________________________________ > >Date: Mon, 26 Oct 1998 08:36:10 -0500 >From: Gilles Gallant <GGallant@RDS.CA> >Subject: Objet :Re: No more spelling error lists PLEASE! > >ggallant@rds.ca > >>>> Steve <sxs@CONCENTRIC.NET> 25/10/98 23h31 >>> >Somebody wrote: > >> Yes, but every time these infantile posts are sent they generate half-a >> dozen responses.
