I am wondering if my alternator is charging the battery enough.  I notice that after driving for a while, the van has more difficulty starting.

I purchased a pocket meter and want to begin to troubleshoot this problem.

I need to know:
1. How to test the battery.
2. How to test battery charging.
3. Any thing else?

I think I can handle the first one.
