turn all the lights on while all the doors are closed?

Yes you have to wire the switch into the ground side of a light circut,
(ie. door pin) it will activate any light that is daisy chained to that
pin , Open door and see who else comes on.  The switch would interupt a
ground but do not disconnect the door pin ( it must work also) just tap
into it and run thru switch to ground.
