Hi,

I am considering getting a short-shift kit for my 90 Carat.  The first owner did a lot of "tuner" mods, so there is the chance that I might already have one installed.  So I don't embarass myself by ordering one and then discovering that I already have one, how can I tell if I have one without crawling under the van?  When I am in 3rd gear, I can place my palm on the knob and still touch the radio with my outstreched fingers.  I am assuming that a short shift kit will change this.
