When I bought my 87 westy I went to two banks and they both would only give
me 6k.  They will not give the full amount of money for a car that is more
than a few years old and won't change since they cannot go against  their
corporate standards/policy.

Hi folks,
I've been in the process of selling my '87 Westy Synchro and I have a
buyer who claims he's just waiting on a loan.  The problem is that he
claims that the bank says that there is no appraised value for a westy
synchro in their blue books.  Does anyone have any ideas on how this can
