Hello all, I was hopeful that gmb's keyring theory had my fuel pump out of line. Not so. I have replaced the electric half of the ignition switch. I still have intermittent fuel pump function. <<<SNIP>>> Regards, -- David Bogle >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> David, Sorry to let you down on that one. You may have stumped this chump. The other thing you might take a look at would be the fuel pump relay. Carefully pry off the little cover to the relay, and using a piece of Emory paper, gently clean the contacts. Replacing this relay isn't as cheap as the ignition switch, but at least it is easier to get to and cleaning the contacts can give you years of service from an otherwise good relay. Sorry again for the bum scoop. Let us know what it turns out to be. gmb
