I thought so too, but the sleeve (believe it or not) works loose in the
case.  Mine did...but I pushed the sensor back into the sleeve, pulled it
tight, held sleeve with screwdriver, and pushed sensor in tight.
I think the sensor is not my problem.  Noise coming more from the pulley
side.
