I currently run 185R14s on my 86 GL and would like to improve performance on sandy rough dirt roads without losing too much highway performance. TIA -- Frank >> They are a 45 mm offset but still fit, they are stamped MT45 on the inside. The 185's that you are currently running, are too small. On the 15 inch rims use 205-75-15 or 215-65's. Have only one tire installed for a test fit on the back. The closer offset inwards will get close the control arms. If good, install the rest. See ya, Michael ' 87 syncro (215-65-16), 87 quattro
