I am looking for a auto tranny overhaul kit for an 88-89 Vanagon
automatic transmission. A kind soul on the list had sold me one for my
90. He gave me a good deal and I am happy with it. But it did have a
differential oil leak and could use an overhaul on the friction parts.
I need to know if there was a source for overhaul kits for these tranny
other than VW.
P.S. Who the hell came up with the paper gasket between the transmission
and the final drive? Here is a news flash PAPER AND PETROLEUM DON'T MIX
Thanks
