Yes I am installing it. It was shipped out on the 24th. Weddle Engineering
built it.

The shift linkages are different, But In talking with John Weddle, He feels
I might be able to modify my shift linkage to allow it to drop into 1st. I
would cut part of the reverse slider plate off to allow it to drop into
first with out pressing down to engage 1st as the synchros do to get into
their granny gear. I also could keep it the stock four linkage and just
press down to get into first. (This is assuming that it is the same length
as a five speed)

The five speed has a spring loaded stop to keep one from shifting into 1st
coming out of second. I am thinking about what might be best. I might try
shifting like the syncro just to see how it is, then try to modify my
linkage.

I think I might go ahead and go with the five speed so shifting will be
smoother.

> b.) Convert to Synchro CV joints

I was not told by Weddle that I needed to, It could be that the European did
not need to do this and the SA did.
