Suddenly my period of simply being a researcher toward the goal of repowering
a Westy with one of the direct injection Audi/VW group TDI diesels has come to
an end.  Why?  I've just exchanged commitments with the folks in the
Washington DC area to buy their Westy with the blown motor.

If anyone encounters pricing offers on a complete direct injection TDI diesel
motor including the accessories, please post them to me.  Based on having
studied the torque and power curves, the 110 hp. 1.9 four cylinder version is
the least powerful of that motor series I should consider.
