A couple years back a fellow employee of Chinese descent who was still struggling
with the US language and culture approached me and said "today, while driving to
work I saw a car that had 2 small square bumper stickers. One said 'Mean People
Suck' and the other 'Nice People Swallow'. What does that mean?"

It took awhile to explain.
