The motor to get is the 86 and later 2.2L "MC" as it has a water cooled turbo and can be made to put out over 200hp with just a little tweeking. There is one potential problem and that is most Audi turbo engines require that Audi turbo flywheel so the TDC sensor will work. Does anyone know if you have to use a South Afriain Caravelle flywheel or can the turbo flywheel be used? Also does the South Africian bellhousing allow for a TDC sensor?
