I have been having a strange loss of power on my Van recently and am
trying to get an idea what it could be.  Sometimes it will go days
before cutting out but the whole time it just doesn't feel right?  I saw
on a website a price for the air flow meter?  what does this do and how
can I tell if Its bad??  I'm already going to replace the fuel filter
and the air filter. any help would be appreciated.

Can you tell I'm a newbie??
