Hi all,
The transmission in my wife's 88 Wolfsburg has been acting up a bit lately.
It sometimes doesn't engage reverse from park until you wait a moment & give
it a bit of gas.  Other times it delays the shift from 2-3 way too long.  I
don't know how much longer it will last.  Van has about 130,000 miles now.

I am interested in buying a low mileage, used auto trans.
Alternatively a new one at a bargain price?
Anyone recommend an auto trans re-builder in southern California?
