I talked to a MacNiel rep. today (US importer for Clim Air), and said that
there is the possibility of bringing back the sunroof air deflector, made
especially for the large vanagon sunroof, (offered on '80-'87 Vanagons) by the
German company Clim Air. Clim Air was the only VW authorized manufacturer for
sunroof/door window deflectors for VW for many years.
the deflector is clear, smoked plastic, and is designed to fit the vanagon
sunroof, only.
Clim Air had discontinued this part a few years ago, but if i can get enough
people to show interest, there is a possibility that they will bring out the
old sunroof mold, and reproduce a limited quantity of them.
to see pics of this sunroof deflector, go to:

i would appreciate your interest/response.
