Okay listees, put on your thinking caps: I hooked my catalytic heater into the propane line under the sink that runs to the stove. The other line runs to the fridge. The catalytic heater needs to run at 11 w.c. inches of propane pressure to assure a clean burn. But the fridge needs less than 11 w.c. inches at altitude. Dometic claims that you may need to turn the regulator down as low as 5 w.c. inches at 8,000 feet to get the fridge to work properly at that altitude. I live at 6,000 feet and can verify that the fridge works better at less than 10 w.c. inches at this altitude. So the question is: Is there a SMALL secondary propane regulator / pressure reducer that can be installed under the sink, between the fridge and the existing stock propane regulator? Preferably one that can be adjusted between 5 and 11 w.c. inches. I have asked a wholesale and a retail plumbing supply house and a couple of propane supply companies. They don't know of such a thing. (Actually the wholesale one did, but it was huge.) Thanks for your brains listees, Bill 90 Westy Syncro
