Hi all. Thanks for the reponses. A couple of points to add after your suggestions. If I depress the clutch pedal or put the van in neutral at about 30 kph and just coast to a stop (no load), there is no vibration. Whats really annoying is shifting up from a stop. First gear thru to 30 kph, crisp acceleration to 4500-5000 rpm's or so all is fine. Then shifting into second drops me right smack into the vibration range of 20-25 kph, trying to keep the rpm's up, but that does not seem to help. Going to third ok, already past the vibration range. I thought maybe motor mounts because I occasionally get a clunk after shifting, but they check out fine and rarely a problem I am told. Maybe my "syncro box is about to ..." Don't say it, I don't wanna hear it. Any other suggestions welcome. I'll keep you informed on the progress of my 16 shaft rotations. I'm at #5, and yes there is a difference between locations, minor, but perceptible. Thanks. -- R.Feuerriegel 88 syncro
