I think we're fooling ourselves if we believe that the clip method of
attaching the deflectors is going to be a quiet long lasting method of
attachment. Most of vents I've seen appear to be glued on. I'm wondering if
a couple of small dabs of clear silicone on the clips won't help hold these
babies on better. These deflectors must expand and contract a bit with
temperature fluctuations, and road vibrations would surely loosen them up over
time.

Now it's a much different story if the deflectors are not the correct size to
begin with. If you check the archives, there seems to have always been a
little bit of a problem with these things loosening up. I plan of following
the instructions carefully when installing them.

I will try these out before I ship them. If they don't fit, or don't work,
then I'm out the cost of shipping these back.

I've already taken a few risks on dash consoles and grey water tanks, and
realized that the Euro spec and US spec Vanagons differ in many ways, but I
think the front windows are close to the same.

 are $44.95 plus $7 shipping.

do a test fit, and get back to Clim Air in Germany...
